The French capital of Paris will host the Olympic Summer Games in 2024. These will include some swimming contests part of which are supposed to take place in the Seine. The city is therefore trying to get the river’s water clean enough for swimming by making changes to its sewage system and deploying a new technology. So might plunging into the Seine become part of Parisian life?
